In the early 90s Thakral Group and Casio entered into a joint venture for manufacturing and distributing calculators in India under the brand 'Thakral-Casio'. While the product was discontinued when Casio directly started catering to the Indian market, by mid 90s, the Thakral Group had become a nation-wide distributor for 400 and Compaq products.
 

Thakral One (formerly Raffles Solutions) was setup in 1997 when the group was approached to undertake a project for the Ministry of Defence, Singapore. The project included developing and managing a facility dedicated to CBTs (Computer-based Training Programmes) development. Later, Thakral One also invested in and managed a 200-seater world-class development centre in Bangalore for IBM.
 

 Today, Thakral One offers IT consulting and infrastructure management services to its customers and has deployed consultants on Web technologies, testing, embedded systems, ERP, CRM and infrastructure support, to name a few.
