Thakral One lauds moves to defray costs

AMONG businesses which have welcomed the measures in the Budget aimed at defraying their costs is Singapore-based IT consulting and services company Thakral One.
Its spokesman told The Business Times that the measures will go some way to help the company maintain its intellectual capital here, even as it has outsourced its lower-end operations to lower-cost locations.
The spokesman said: "For companies like us that are competing in the Asian market, we need to do all we can to remain cost competitive in Singapore, where we are based.
"The current cost structure makes it difficult to compete here and so whatever is done in the Budget to make it more cost effective for us, we welcome it."....Read More
